„Good accommodation for a stopover, with a beer garden where you can also eat well – even if the service is sometimes quite slow. The hotel is kept modern, which can be a bit unusual, especially in the bathroom, where the shower has no door and the sink is very small. For a visit to Legoland though, a good solution.“

7. Use of cookies
In order to design the website according to your needs and to collect certain information,
we use various technologies, including so-called cookies. Cookies are used to simplify
internet use and communication.
Cookies are small text files that our website sends to your browser and that are
stored on your computer to save them there as an anonymous identifier. These cookies are used, for example, to
better manage the connection during your visit to our website and to provide more effective support
when you return to our website. Without this temporary "caching" some
applications would require previously entered information to be entered again. A cookie contains only the data that a server outputs
and/or the user enters on request (e.g. structure: information about domain, path, expiration date, cookie name and
value). Cookies therefore contain purely technical information, not personal data. Cookies also
cannot spy on the user's hard drive, cause damage or the like.
The following types of cookies may be used:
- Session cookies: These are deleted automatically when the internet browser
is closed.
- Persistent cookies: These remain stored on your computer for a certain period
of time; the duration depends on the stored expiration date.
- Third Party Cookies: These may in particular include cookies from various
social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr etc.) or other
internet service providers (such as Google). These cookies collect information such as duration of stay,
page views, navigation via links etc. They are used, for example, to display certain advertising content that
results from search histories, visited websites and the like. These cookies cannot be read by us.
If you wish, you can generally suppress the storage of cookies (or certain types of
cookies) via your web browser or decide whether you want storage after being notified. However, not accepting
cookies may result in some pages not being displayed correctly or functionality being limited.
8. Analytics Tools
The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google").
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an
analysis of your use of the platform. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this
website is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymization is activated on
the website/platform, your IP address will, however, be shortened by Google within member states of the
European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in
exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On
behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website/
platform, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website and internet
usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics
will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser
software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of
this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and
related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google as well as the processing of this data
by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at this link.
Google offers the option to prevent data collection by Google Analytics. Please visit
the relevant web page of Google for this purpose.
9. Facebook Plugins
This website uses Facebook social plugins operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker

by the terms “Like”, “Share” etc. in Facebook’s colors (blue and white). The plugins are only activated when you
click the corresponding buttons. You have the option to activate the plugins once or permanently. The plugins
establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. We have no influence over the nature
and extent of the data that the plugin transmits to Facebook's servers. The plugin informs Facebook that you as
a user have visited this website. It is possible that your IP address will be stored. If you are logged into
your Facebook account while visiting this website, the aforementioned information will be linked to that account.
If you use the functions of the plugin – for example by sharing a post or clicking the “Like” button – the
corresponding information will also be transmitted to Facebook and may be linked to your Facebook account. You can
only prevent this by logging out before using the plugin. Further information on the collection and use of data by
Facebook, on your rights in this regard and on options to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook's
privacy notices.
10. Other Web Tools
Other Google web tools may possibly be used on this website (for example "Google
AdWords", "Google AdSense", "Google AdExchange" or "Google DoubleClick for Publishers") – regarding whether
and to what extent these tools are specifically used, we will be happy to provide information and ask you to
contact us via one of the contact options given in the legal notice of the website if you have questions. When
using these tools we do not process any personal data of yours; however, data processing may possibly be carried
out by Google itself – please therefore consult Google’s respective privacy notices to obtain further details on
the use of your personal data.

legal developments in the field of data protection. The adjusted/changed privacy provisions will then apply to
your future use of our website. We therefore recommend that you review them from time to time.
§1 Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded with the
Landgasthof Hotel Linde.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract, Contractual Partner
1. The contract is concluded between the customer and the country inn as soon as the
reservation has been confirmed in writing by the country inn. The conclusion of the contract obliges both
contracting parties to fulfil it. Option dates are binding for both contracting parties.
2. Option dates are binding for both contracting parties. If the agreed option date is
exceeded and the reservation is not confirmed in writing, the Landgasthof Hotel Linde reserves the right to
dissolve the option and rent the rooms to others.
§ 3 Services, Prices, Payments, Complaints
1. The customer is obliged to pay for the services used by him or the agreed prices of the
country inn. This also applies to services and expenses of the country inn to third parties initiated by the
customer.
2. Reserved rooms are available to the client only at the time agreed in writing. Use of the
rooms beyond the agreed period requires prior approval by the country inn management and may be charged.
3. All prices are in euros and include statutory value added tax. If the period between the
conclusion of the contract and the provision of the services exceeds 120 days, the Landgasthof Hotel Linde
reserves the right to make a change in price or services.
4. Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date without deduction. After this
period, bank customary default interest will be charged.
5. The country inn is entitled to require a reasonable advance payment or security upon
conclusion of the contract or afterwards.
6. A complaint about obvious defects can only be considered if it is made immediately
when the service is provided.
7. Delivered goods remain the property of the seller until full payment of all claims
arising from the business relationship between seller and buyer.
§ 4 Cancellation by the Customer
1. A cancellation by the customer of the contract concluded with the country inn requires
the written consent of the country inn. If this is not given, the agreed price under the contract is payable even
if the customer does not make use of contractual services.
2. A free cancellation of the event is possible after conclusion of a legally binding
contract up to two months before the start of the event.
In the event of cancellation after this deadline, the following cancellation rates will be
charged on the booked arrangements:
up to 2 months before the start of the event: free of charge
up to 30 days before the start of the event: 20% of the booked services
up to 15 days before the start of the event: 50% of the booked services
up to 2 days before the start of the event: 80% of the booked services
from 2 days before the start of the event: 100% of the booked services
The country inn reserves the right to assert any further damage incurred in addition.
§ 5 Binding Number of Participants
1. Banquet events The final number of participants (broken down into adults aged 12 and over, children under 12, and toddlers under 3) must be reported to the country inn at least 2 days before the event. After this deadline, the number of people ordered will be charged.
2. Conference events The final number of participants must be reported to the country inn at least 2 days before the event. The number of participants reported at that time will be charged to the booker; absences due to illness can no longer be taken into account. Even in the event that the participants pay the conference package themselves, absences will be charged to the booker. If fewer than 20 people attend the conference or the registered number of participants falls below 20, a room rental fee of €100.00 per day will be charged. If a larger room is required than is sufficient for the number of participants, the full room rental for that room will be charged. The optimal room allocation is at the discretion of the country inn unless a written agreement was made in advance.
§6 Special notes for events
1. The orderer and organizer are liable for the payment of any additional food and drinks ordered by the event participants. The organizer / orderer is automatically liable for unpaid bills from event participants, even if they refuse this from the outset. If the orderer is not also the organizer, both are jointly and severally liable.
2. The customer is fully liable to the country inn for damages caused by themselves or their guests. It is the customer's responsibility to take out any necessary insurance for exhibition, seminar or conference items brought along or for technical equipment. The country inn is not liable for lost, damaged or destroyed items. The country inn may require proof of such insurance.
3. Insofar as the country inn procures third-party services, technical or other equipment for the customer, it acts in the name and for the account of the customer. The customer is liable for the careful treatment and proper return of this equipment and indemnifies the country inn against all third-party claims arising from the provision of this equipment.
4. Newspaper advertisements, invitations to job interviews or sales events generally require the prior written consent of the country inn. If thereby essential interests of the country inn are impaired, the country inn may withdraw from the contract and cancel the event.
5. To prevent damage to ceilings and walls, the attachment of decorative materials or other items must be agreed with the country inn in advance. The customer guarantees that decorative materials in particular comply with fire safety regulations. The country inn may require submission of an appropriate certificate from the competent fire protection authority.
6. No own food and drinks may be consumed anywhere on the premises of Landgasthof Hotel Linde and its associated outdoor area. Exceptions must be agreed in writing with Landgasthof Hotel Linde (cover charge / corkage).
7. The country inn accepts no liability for food brought along, as the HACCP cold chain cannot be monitored by us. Food and drinks that remain (in particular at buffets) may not be taken home.
8. The event room is made available exclusively to the organizer / orderer on the day of the event when booked. Any set-up on the previous day or dismantling on the following day is only possible by arrangement and cannot be guaranteed. Fees may be charged for use of the premises outside the event times.
9. Please note that the volume must be reduced or adjusted from 11:00 p.m. From 00:00 a night surcharge of €250.00 per hour applies. Any booked packages remain valid.
§ 7 Withdrawal by the country inn
The country inn is entitled to withdraw from the contract extraordinarily for a materially justified reason, for example if
1. force majeure or other circumstances for which the country inn is not responsible make the fulfillment of the contract impossible;
2. rooms are booked by misleading or false representation of material facts, e.g. regarding the person of the customer or the purpose;
3. the country inn has reasonable grounds to assume that the event may endanger the smooth running of business, the safety or the reputation of the country inn in public, without this being attributable to the sphere of control or organization of the country inn;
4. the organizer conceals that he is a political association. In the event of a justified withdrawal by the country inn from the contract, the customer is not entitled to compensation for damages.
§ 8 Official permits
1. The organizer must obtain any necessary official permit at their own expense unless something else has been expressly agreed in writing. The organizer is responsible for complying with all relevant regulatory requirements. At the request of the country inn, appropriate proof must be provided.
2. The setting off of fireworks or firecrackers is generally not permitted. Exceptions must be agreed in writing in advance and approved by the Günzburg district office. The organizer or client will be held liable for any claims or lawsuits. The use of open flames (spray flame, sparklers, fireworks) in the rooms is not permitted. Table candles and tealights are exceptions.
3. All music events must be reported in advance by the organizer to GEMA. The organizer bears the GEMA fees. The country inn will be indemnified by the organizer for any claims by GEMA arising from unlawful use of GEMA's or third parties' rights (e.g. due to failure to register by the organizer).
§ 9 Lost property
No liability is accepted for lost or left-behind / forgotten items. These will only be sent on request and against reimbursement of costs. The country inn will keep the items for a period of 6 months. Afterwards, items of apparent value will be handed over to the local lost property office.
§ 10 Overnight stays at Gasthof Linde
1. See the terms and conditions of Gasthof Linde.
2. The country inn is not liable for damage or other unlawful behavior of the conference guest.
3. The conference guest who stays overnight at Landgasthof Linde pays their hotel bill directly to Landgasthof Linde.
§ 11 Final provisions
1. Should one or more provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
2. Amendments or additions to the contract, the acceptance of the application or side agreements must be made in writing to be effective. The statutory provisions also apply.
3. Place of performance and place of payment is the registered office of the country inn in Günzburg. Exclusive jurisdiction - also for cheque and bill of exchange disputes - in commercial transactions is the registered office of the country inn.
4. These terms and conditions are an integral part of the event contract. The event agreement and these terms and conditions together form the event contract.
5. German law applies.

gatherings. That people choose our house for their most important moments fills us with great
pride.
In the kitchen we literally sometimes look beyond the plate. Our focus is
not only on our daily à-la-carte business, but also on the preparation of seasonal specialties. With many years of experience we create a variety of menu or buffet offers –
whether for a meal for two, a lunch break, a larger celebration or a meeting.
As a restaurant we are a destination for tourists and coaches as well as for
local guests.
In the business sector we are the main contact in the area for conferences and seminars
of numerous companies. Our location, the varied catering options and competent contacts are
some of the reasons why companies rarely change after they have once held meetings with us.
Since 2014 we have offered a high standard in our modern 4-star hotel, unrivaled in our
region.
Family celebrations, such as weddings or birthdays, can be celebrated in one of our many
event rooms with beautiful ambience. Our experience also helps you cover aspects of your
event that you may not have thought of.
In summer many guests enjoy the idyllic atmosphere in our beer garden. In
winter it is often used when guests gather around a fire with a mulled wine in hand to
set the mood for a lovely evening.
Our alpine bowling lane serves as a finale for many events; children's birthdays
and other groups also spend pleasant hours there. The bar supports this cheerfulness and furthermore
all sporting events are broadcast on SKY.
What is important to us
We are not perfectionists but carry out our tasks with heart and soul. Your
event bears our signature, because after 10 years we have developed a strong personality.
As a Bavarian-Swabian family business, tradition and our roots are important to us in the kitchen. We combine local traditional cuisine and classics with modern and international dishes.
Our menu selection should offer the right choice for every taste. Freshness and quality of the
dishes and food we prepare are particularly important to us. Our head chef and his entire
team place great value on this.
With our prices we want to create a fair price-performance ratio in order
on the one hand to be competitive but not to undermine our quality on the other.
The reputation of gastronomic professions must be raised again in the future.
Therefore we want to produce well-trained specialists and use all resources available to us for this purpose.
Who matters to us
Guests: More and more guests are aware that they are king
Here we therefore convince primarily with quality instead of merely courting the guest with words. We generally succeed in making everyone happy whom we can reasonably make happy with the means available to us.
People come to us to hand over their stress and simply enjoy themselves for once. Our harmony and
lightness are evident and make this possible.
Employees: The country inn Hotel Linde, like other businesses
in the industry, feels the employee turnover that is common in gastronomy, but most employees strongly identify with us, as evidenced by the fact that almost all important positions in the house have been filled by homegrown staff.
Suppliers: We are glad to have found the suppliers
for the country inn Hotel Linde in our region early on and have been working successfully with them ever since. The suppliers and our employees have also known each other for several years and can therefore maintain a relationship similar to that practiced within our in-house team.
Partners: We work successfully with our direct partners the Eurohotel in Günzburg and
Friedberg as well as the Shell petrol station and are grateful for the friendly
basis. Legoland is not only an asset for us but for the entire Günzburg location. As
a partner hotel we enjoy radiant children and exhausted parents all summer long. For some time now we have been allowed to call ourselves the parent house of the Rotary Club Günzburg. We are proud of the good cooperation. As a Bavarian country inn it is more than a duty to mention our breweries. Nowhere else are venues chosen by this criterion, yet for us it has great significance.
How we relate to each other
At the country inn Hotel Linde everyone, whether reinforcement team member, trainee or
qualified employee, receives the opportunity to shape their work independently once they have demonstrated the necessary competence.
161 YEARS LINDE
2014
Elmar Lutzenberger let a new “branch" grow from the traditional “trunk" of the Linde in the form
of a new four-star hotel building. Since then, 26 cosy rooms, a wellness and spa area as well as new rooms
for conferences and celebrations of all kinds have been available to guests from near and far.
2006
In December 2006 the new Linde was reopened with different restaurant areas and
a conference and seminar wing.
2000
Following the death of both parents, in 2000 their son from the marriage,
Elmar Lutzenberger, took over the property. In 2005 he decided to completely demolish the old inn building
and erect a beautiful country inn in the Bavarian-Swabian style on the same site.
1970
Johanna Beck married Benno Lutzenberger from Günzburg. The inn
„Zur Linde" remained leased.
1964
Josef Beck died; his son Josef Beck Jr. took over the family
inn and later married Johanna Keppeler from Eppishausen (Allgäu). A few years after the marriage
Josef Beck Jr. died in an accident. His wife, however, kept the „Linde" and later leased the business.
1936
The eldest son Josef married the farmer's daughter Theodora Kollmann from Hochwang and
took over his inheritance. The construction of the Munich–Stuttgart motorway brought increasing
tourism to the business. World War II, however, prevented plans for a necessary expansion of the
inn. Only a few years after the war could some rooms formerly used for agriculture
be converted.
1912
Albert Beck died, and his widow Barbara Beck ran the inn with her children
on her own.
1904
There was another change of ownership. Albert Beck from Schneckenhofen bought the
tavern.
1883
The „Linde" was sold due to the unexpected death of Mr. Grimbacher Jr. to
police sergeant Nikolaus Stocker from Günzburg.
1879
He died, and his son took over the property.
1865
The new construction of the inn by Anton Fahrenschon and his wife Marianne was
built, thereby creating a coherent village appearance up to the Günzburg – Ichenhausen main road. The chronicle
reports that after the raising of the roof frame a strong gust of wind tore the roof frame down and it had to be
erected a second time. After the building was completed, the inn was opened immediately. Since
a year earlier a lime tree had been planted by the municipality on the open space at the entrance to the village,
the inn received the name „Zur Linde". After only a few years the Fahrenschon couple sold the
inn to Johann Grimbacher, who lived as a farrier in Deffingen.
