„Good accommodation for a stopover, with a beer garden where you can also eat well – even though the service can sometimes be quite slow. The hotel is kept modern, which can feel a bit unusual, especially in the bathroom where the shower has no door and the sink is very small. For a visit to Legoland though, a good solution.“

7. Use of cookies
In order to design the website according to your needs and to collect certain information, we use various technologies, including so-called cookies. Cookies are used to simplify Internet use and communication.
Cookies are small text files that our website sends to your browser and that are stored on your computer to save them there as an anonymous identifier. These cookies serve, for example, to better manage the connection during your visit to our website and to provide more effective support when you return to our website. Without this temporary "caching," some applications would require previously entered information to be entered again. A cookie only contains the data that a server issues and/or the user enters on request (e.g. structure: information on domain, path, expiry date, cookie name and value). Cookies therefore contain purely technical information, not personal data. Cookies also cannot spy on the user's hard drive, cause damage or the like.
The following types of cookies may be used:
- Session Cookies: These are automatically deleted when the web browser is closed.
- Persistent Cookies: These remain stored on your computer for a specific period of time; the duration depends on the stored expiration date.
- Third Party Cookies: These can in particular also include cookies from various social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Flickr, etc.) or other Internet service providers (such as Google). These cookies collect information such as dwell time, page views, movement via links, etc. They are used, for example, to display certain advertising content that results from search histories, visited websites and the like. These cookies cannot be read by us.
If you wish, you can generally suppress the storage of cookies (or certain types of cookies) via your web browser or decide whether you want to be notified before storage. However, not accepting cookies may result in some pages no longer being displayed correctly or functionality being limited.
8. Analytics tools
The website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the platform. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is normally transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymization is activated on the website/platform, however, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website/platform, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services related to website and Internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser to Google as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at this link.
Google offers the option to prevent data collection by Google Analytics. Please visit the relevant Google web page for this purpose.
9. Facebook plugins
This website uses Facebook social plugins, which are operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA; "Facebook"). The integrations are recognizable by the Facebook logo or by the terms "Like", "Gefällt mir", "Share", etc. in Facebook colors (blue and white). The plugins are only activated when you click on the corresponding buttons. You have the option to activate the plugins once or permanently. The plugins establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. We have no influence on the nature and extent of the data that the plugin transmits to the Facebook servers. The plugin informs Facebook that you, as a user, have visited this website. It is possible that your IP address will be stored. If you are logged into your Facebook account while visiting this website, the aforementioned information will be linked to that account. If you use the functions of the plugin—for example by sharing a post or clicking the "Like" button—the corresponding information will also be transmitted to Facebook and possibly linked to your Facebook account. You can only prevent this by logging out before using the plugin. More information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, about your related rights and ways to protect your privacy can be found in Facebook's privacy notices.
10. Other web tools
Other web tools from Google may possibly be used on this website (for example "Google AdWords", "Google AdSense", "Google AdExchange" or "Google DoubleClick for Publishers") – if and to what extent these tools are specifically used, we will be happy to provide information and ask you to contact us with any questions via one of the contact options given in the website imprint. When we use these tools we do not process any personal data about you; any data processing may, however, be performed by Google itself – please therefore consult Google's respective privacy notices to obtain further details on the use of your personal data.
11. Newsletter
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via the website. This is of course voluntary and can be cancelled at any time. To be added to our newsletter database we require your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. As soon as you have registered for this newsletter, you will receive an e-mail with a link to confirm the registration ("double opt-in"). You can cancel receipt of the newsletter at any time; please use one of the contact options given in the website imprint to unsubscribe or click the unsubscribe link, which is included in every issue of the newsletter.
12. Reservation of changes
We must reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy if necessary, for example to reflect legal developments in the field of data protection. The adapted/changed data protection provisions shall then apply to future use of our website. We therefore recommend that you review these from time to time.
§1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded with the Landgasthof Hotel Linde.
§ 2 Conclusion of contract, contracting parties
1. The contract is concluded between the customer and the country inn as soon as the reservation has been confirmed in writing by the country inn. The conclusion of the contract obliges both contracting parties to fulfill it. Option dates are binding for both contracting parties.
2. Option dates are binding for both contracting parties. If the agreed option date
is exceeded and the reservation is not confirmed in writing, Landgasthof Hotel Linde reserves the right
to terminate the option and rent the rooms to others.
§ 3 Services, prices, payments, complaints
1. The customer is obliged to pay for the services used by them or the
agreed prices of the Landgasthof. This also applies to services and expenses of the Landgasthof to third parties
caused by the customer.
2. Reserved rooms are available to the client only for the time agreed in writing.
Use of the premises beyond the agreed period requires prior approval by the Landgasthof management and may be charged.
3. All prices are in euros and include statutory value added tax. If the period of 120 days
between contract conclusion and performance of the services is exceeded, Landgasthof Hotel Linde reserves the right
to make changes to prices or services.
4. Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date without deduction.
After this period, customary bank default interest will be charged.
5. The Landgasthof is entitled to require a reasonable advance payment or security
upon conclusion of the contract or thereafter.
6. Complaints about obvious defects can only be considered if
they are made immediately upon performance of the service.
7. Delivered goods remain the property of the seller until full payment of all claims arising
from the business relationship between seller and buyer.
§ 4 Cancellation by the customer
1. A customer’s withdrawal from the contract concluded with the Landgasthof requires the
Landgasthof’s written consent. If this is not given, the agreed price under the contract must still
be paid even if the customer does not make use of contractual services.
2. Free cancellation of the event is possible until two months before the start of the
event after conclusion of a legally binding contract.
In the event of cancellation after this deadline, the following cancellation rates will be applied to the
booked packages:
up to 2 months before the event start: free of charge
up to 30 days before the event start: 20% of the booked services
up to 15 days before the event start: 50% of the booked services
up to 2 days before the event start: 80% of the booked services
from 2 days before the event start: 100% of the booked services
The Landgasthof reserves the right to assert any further damages in addition.
§ 5 Binding participant numbers
1. Banquet events The final number of participants (divided into adults from 12
years, children under 12 years and infants under 3 years) must be reported to the Landgasthof no later than 2 days before
the event. After this deadline, the ordered number of persons will be billed.
2. Conference events The final number of participants must be reported to the Landgasthof no later than 2
days before the event. The number of participants reported at that time will be charged to the booker; absences due to
illness can no longer be taken into account. Even if participants pay the conference package themselves, absences will be charged to the booker. If
fewer than 20 people attend the conference or the registered number of participants falls below 20, a room rental of
100,00 € per day will apply. If a larger room is required than is appropriate for the number of participants, the full
room rental for that room will be charged. The optimal room allocation remains at the discretion of the Landgasthof
unless a written agreement was made in advance.
§6 Special notes for events
1. Orderers and organizers are liable for payment of any additional food and drink ordered
by event participants. For unpaid bills of event participants, the organizer / orderer is automatically liable, even if
they refuse this from the outset. If the orderer is not simultaneously the organizer, both are jointly and severally liable.
2. The customer is fully liable to the Landgasthof for damage caused by themselves or their
guests. It is the customer’s responsibility to take out any necessary insurance for brought-in exhibition,
seminar, conference items or technical equipment. The Landgasthof is not liable for
lost, damaged or destroyed items. The Landgasthof may require proof of such
insurance.
3. To the extent the Landgasthof procures third-party services, technical or other
equipment for the customer, it acts in the name and on behalf of the customer. The customer is liable for the
careful treatment and proper return of this equipment and indemnifies the Landgasthof against all
claims by third parties arising from the provision of these items.
4. Newspaper advertisements, invitations to interviews or sales events generally require the prior
written consent of the Landgasthof. If essential interests of the Landgasthof are impaired as a result, the Landgasthof may withdraw from the contract and cancel the
event.
5. To prevent damage to ceilings and walls, the attachment of
decorative material or other items must be coordinated with the Landgasthof in advance. The customer guarantees
that in particular decorative material complies with fire safety requirements. The Landgasthof may request submission of a corresponding certificate from the competent fire safety authority.
6. No own food and beverages may be consumed throughout Landgasthof Hotel Linde and
the adjacent outdoor area. Exceptions must be agreed in writing with Landgasthof Hotel Linde
(cover charge / corkage).
7. The Landgasthof assumes no liability for brought-in food, as the HACCP cold chain cannot be monitored by us. Food and beverages that remain (in particular
at buffets) may not be taken home.
8. By booking, the event room is made available to the organizer / orderer exclusively
on the day of the event. Any setup on the previous day or dismantling on the following day of the event is only
possible by arrangement and cannot be guaranteed. Fees may be charged for use of the premises outside of
event times.
9. Please note that volume must be reduced or adjusted from 11:00 p.m. From 00:00 a night surcharge of 250,00 € per hour will apply. Any booked packages
remain valid.
§ 7 Withdrawal by the Landgasthof
The Landgasthof is entitled to withdraw from the contract extraordinarily for a justified
reason, for example if
1. force majeure or other circumstances for which the Landgasthof is not responsible make
performance of the contract impossible;
2. rooms are booked by misleading or false indication of material facts, e.g. regarding the
person of the customer or the purpose;
3. the Landgasthof has reasonable grounds to assume that the event may jeopardize the
smooth operation of business, the safety or the reputation of the Landgasthof in public, without this being attributable to the sphere of control or organisation of the Landgasthof;
4. the organizer conceals that it is a political association. In the case of a justified withdrawal of the Landgasthof from the contract, the customer has no claim for damages.
§ 8 Official permits
1. The organizer must obtain any necessary official permits at their own expense,
unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. The organizer is responsible for complying with all relevant regulatory requirements. Upon request of the Landgasthof, appropriate proof must be provided.
2. The setting off of fireworks or firecrackers is generally not permitted.
Exceptions must be agreed in writing from the outset and approved by the Günzburg District Office. In the event of any claims or lawsuits, the organizer or client will be held liable. The use of open flames (spray fire, sparklers, fireworks) in the rooms is not
permitted. Table candles and tealights are exempt.
3. All musical events must be reported in advance by the organizer to GEMA.
The organizer bears the GEMA fees. The Landgasthof will be indemnified by the organizer for any GEMA claims arising from unlawful use of GEMA or third-party rights (e.g. due to non-registration by the organizer).
§ 9 Lost and Found
No liability is assumed for lost property or items left/forgotten. These will only be forwarded on request and against reimbursement of costs. The Landgasthof will keep the
items for a period of 6 months. Afterwards, items of apparent value will be handed over to the local lost and found office.
§ 10 Overnight stays at Gasthof Linde
1. See the terms and conditions of Gasthof Linde.
2. The Landgasthof is not liable for damages or other unlawful behaviour of the
conference guest.
3. The conference guest staying overnight at Landgasthof Linde pays their hotel bill
directly to Landgasthof Linde.
§ 11 Final provisions
1. Should one or more provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, this
shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
2. Changes or additions to the contract, the offer acceptance or side agreements must
be made in writing to be effective. Statutory provisions also apply.
3. Place of performance and payment is the registered office of the Landgasthof in Günzburg.
Exclusive place of jurisdiction - also for cheque and bill of exchange disputes - for commercial transactions is the registered office of the Landgasthof.
4. These terms and conditions are an integral part of the event contract. The
event agreement and these terms and conditions together form the event contract.
5. German law applies.

In summer many guests enjoy the idyllic atmosphere in our beer garden. In
winter it is often used when guests gather around a fire with a mulled wine in hand to get in the mood for a pleasant evening.
Our alpine bowling alley serves as a finale for many events; children's birthday parties
and other groups also spend lovely hours there. The bar supports this conviviality and, moreover,
all sporting events are broadcast on SKY.
What matters to us
We are not perfectionists but perform our task with heart and soul. Your
event will bear our signature, because after 10 years we have developed a strong personality.
As a Bavarian-Swabian family business, tradition and our roots are important to us in the
kitchen. We combine local traditional cuisine and classics with modern and international dishes.
Our menu is intended to offer something for every taste. Above all, the freshness and quality of the
dishes and food we prepare are very important to us. Our head chef and his entire
team attach great importance to this.
With our prices we want to create a fair price-performance ratio in order to
be competitive on the one hand but not undermine our quality on the other.
The reputation of gastronomic professions must be raised again in the future.
We therefore want to train well-qualified specialists and use all resources available to us for this purpose.
Who is important to us
Guests: More and more guests are aware that they are king.
Therefore we mainly convince with quality instead of merely charming the guest with words. We usually succeed in
making everyone happy who can be made happy with the means at our disposal.
People come to us to hand over their stress and simply enjoy themselves. Our harmony and
lightness radiate outward and make this possible.
Employees: Like other businesses in the industry, Landgasthof
Hotel Linde feels the staff turnover that is common in the hospitality sector, yet most employees strongly identify with us, which is also evidenced by the fact that almost all important positions in the house have been filled by
homegrown staff.
Suppliers: We are grateful to have found the suppliers for
Landgasthof Hotel Linde in our region early on and to have been working successfully with them ever since. The suppliers and our employees have also known each other for many years and can therefore maintain a relationship that is also practiced within our in-house team.
Partners: We work successfully with our direct partners Eurohotel in Günzburg and
Friedberg as well as the Shell service station and are thankful for the friendly basis. Legoland is an asset not only for us but for the whole Günzburg location. As a partner hotel we enjoy shining children and exhausted parents all summer long. For some time we have been allowed to call ourselves the founding home of the Rotary Club Günzburg. We are proud of the good cooperation. As a Bavarian country inn it is more than a duty to mention our breweries. Nowhere else are venues chosen based on this criterion, yet for us it has great significance.
How we relate to each other
At Landgasthof Hotel Linde everyone — whether a team reinforcer, trainee or qualified employee — is given the opportunity to design their work with personal responsibility once they have demonstrated the necessary competence.
150 Years of Linde – An Anniversary
2014
Elmar Lutzenberger let a new “branch” grow from the traditional “trunk” of the Linde in the form
of a new four-star hotel. 26 cosy rooms, a wellness and spa area as well as new rooms
for conferences and celebrations of all kinds have since been available to guests from near and far.
2006
In December 2006 the new Linde was then reopened with different restaurant areas and
a conference and seminar wing.
2000
After the death of both parents, in 2000 the son from the marriage, Elmar Lutzenberger, took over the estate. He decided in 2005 to completely demolish the old inn building and to build a beautiful country inn in the Bavarian-Swabian style on the same site.
1970
Johanna Beck married Benno Lutzenberger from Günzburg. The inn
“Zur Linde” remained leased.
1964
Josef Beck passed away; his son Josef Beck Jr. took over the family
inn and later married Johanna Keppeler from Eppishausen (Allgäu). A few years after the marriage,
Josef Beck Jr. had a fatal accident. However, his wife kept the “Linde” and later leased the business.
1936
The eldest son Josef married the farmer’s daughter Theodora Kollmann from Hochwang and
took over his inheritance. The construction of the Munich–Stuttgart motorway brought increasing
tourism to the business. However, World War II prevented plans for a necessary expansion of the
inn. Only a few years after the war could some rooms previously used for agriculture be
converted.
1912
Albert Beck died, and his widow Barbara Beck ran the business
alone with her children.
1904
There was another change of ownership. Albert Beck from Schneckenhofen bought the
inn.
1883
The “Linde” was sold after the unexpected death of Mr. Grimbacher Jr. to Police Constable Nikolaus Stocker from Günzburg.
1879
He passed away, and his son took over the property.
1865
The new building of the inn owned by Anton Fahrenschon and his wife Marianne was
erected and thus created a cohesive village appearance up to the Günzburg – Ichenhausen main road. The chronicle
reports that after the erection of the roof truss a strong gust of wind tore the truss apart and it had to be
rebuilt a second time. After the completion of the building the inn was opened immediately. Because
a year earlier a lime tree had been planted by the municipality on the open space at the village entrance,
the inn was given the name “Zur Linde”. After only a few years the Fahrenschon couple sold the
inn to Johann Grimbacher, who lived in Deffingen as a farrier.
